At the same time, with the know-how it has acquired, it can provide Design and Construction services in private sector projects as well. In addition, in the year 2020, it entered the Real Estate Sales and Leasing sector. |
Hippodamus the Milesian was an ancient Greek architect, urban planner, physicist, mathematician, meteorologist and philosopher, also considered as the “father of urban planning”. The work of Hippodamus includes, among others, the “Urban Planning Study of Rhodes”, drawn up in 408 BC. He is also considered to be the proponent of the idea that a city plan can incorporate a rational social order, for this reason and to ensure the healthy functioning of the cities, he planned their water supply, ensured that they were supplied with plenty of water and oriented them so that the houses had sun in winter and cool in summer. Finally, it provided slopes in the streets for the removal of rainwater. and placed the temples and public buildings in guarded and fortified positions, so as to serve the functionality and ensure their defense.
